Individualized Educational Solutions
A 4-battery diagnostic test prior to enrollment provides the information needed to tailor each student’s academic plan for the year. Weakness in subjects such as Math, English, or reading is identified and a plan created which allows the student to master the gaps and catch up to grade level without creating additional gaps or undue stress. Parents are referred to DEAR if their student demonstrates struggles resulting from dyslexia.
Students who come to MVCA as either non-readers or struggling readers, no matter their age, (5 – 18) receive personal attention to determine the best combination of ACE curriculum options and the Easy Stories curriculum developed by Mrs. Bea Beasley covering grades 2-5 in an individualized but accelerated phonics format.
Our dedicated teachers provide one-on-one instruction as needed with the goal to foster independence and critical thinking.
